It's not all romo Fault
Another year, another bad December for the Dallas Cowboys.
Another year, another dose of bad play from QB Tony Romo.
However, in his defense, it is not all his fault. I could point to a lot of things that are wrong with the Cowboys, from the defense and injuries to coaching – in this case, BAD coaching.
I understand why coach Jason Garrett still has a job – he’s only been on the job for a season and a half. But his dubious in-game coaching decisions have cost him at least one game this season. Who could have forgotten the time when Garrett iced HIS OWN KICKER in Arizona? Win that game and there would not have been a need to win the last game of the season.
Also, what happened to that “vaunted” Rob Ryan defense? The D was so porous, I along with 10 random cats could have hung 20 points on Dallas. Granted there was no offseason workouts and minicamps thanks to that stupid lockout, but Ryan did not get the job done.
Can Romo play better? Sure.
I’m just saying there are more problems in Dallas that supersedes Romo. So it’s time to lay off the Romo criticism – for now…

Prince Fielder
Ken Davidoff of Newsday reports that Prince Fielder wants to play for the Cubs, but they "appear committed to a full rebuild for 2012."
Fielder is intrigued by the possibility of playing in Chicago, Davidoff says, because "they’re a reasonable distance from his Florida home and he has outstanding numbers at Wrigley Field." It doesn't appear that he'll land there, though, as the Cubs appear committed to rebuilding the farm system rather than spending on free agents. Davidoff also lists the Nationals and Blue Jays as potential landing spots for Prince but notes that the Nats "are a little gun-shy" after the Jayson Werth deal and the Jays are unwilling to go beyond five years for the first baseman.

No fun league

Any fan of the National Football League, or the NFL, knows that the acronym has been used to also diss the league. Many have called it the “No Fun League.” & with good reason. Today, Marshawn Lynch was fined $10,000 for wearing cleats that had logos of Skittles on them. Earlier this year he was fined $5,000 for wearing green socks. & there was Wes Welker, he was fined $10,000 for wearing a non-NFL sponsored hat while giving an interview. Then there was the ENTIRE Saints team who was fined for wearing green & red tape against Atlanta, in the means of celebrating Christmas. I mean, come on NFL. Is all this really necessary? Fines for late hits, maybe even celebrations, I can take. But for dress code violations? & the ridiculousness amount of the fines. $10,000? These violations aren’t that big of a deal. Its not like his cleats had some special motor on them that made him faster. Or his socks were any better than his opponents because they were green. No, they just weren’t NFL licensed apparel so instead of the NFL banking on profit, some other company, like Skittles, was. & you know why Skittles is now banking on the Lynch? Because they don’t have these dumb rules. Maybe instead of taking the fun out, the league execs should come up with a better way of marketing these ideas. Maybe allowing creative cleats, cool socks, & possible sideline apparel of other companies. I mean, they would be paying royalties to the NFL. Stop being that old school, boring ass company. Mix it up a little. Let’s freshen up the league. & paaaallllllleeeeeeeaaaaaassssssseeeee, can we bring back the end-zone celebrations? Divas or no divas, a majority of your league athletes are creative as shit.

Awesome almost to 100.How about northwestern losing there 9th straight bowl game.Wow tough.I'm really disappointed in my badgers today.Losing to unranked Iowa. They were 95% favorites. But at least Ohio state lost as well.I think the badgers might have a chance in winning there conference.Just maybe!!.
